ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition filed, under Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders, to call for the records relating to the case in Crime No.64 of 2014 on the file of the first respondent and quash the same as against the second accused.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today (i.e.,21.06.2023), the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State would submit that the first respondent, after completing the investigation, has laid the final report and the case was taken on file in C.C.No.200 of 2023 and the same is pending on the file of the Court of the Judicial Magistrate No. II, Dindigul.

3. Since the charge sheet has already been filed and the case was taken on file, nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition. Hence, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. The petitioner is at 2/4

liberty to challenge the charge sheet, if so advised. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
