ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking for a direction to direct the second respondent to file a final report in Crime No.121 of 2021 dated 30.03.2021 and proceed with the same as per law within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was falsely implicated as accused in Crime No.121 of 2021 dated 30.03.2021 for the offences under Sections 170 and 419 IPC. Since the respondent Police has not completed the investigation and has not filed a final report, this Criminal Original Petition has been filed.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No.121 of 2021 and for the same, investigation is in progress. Hence, he seeks two months time to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

4. Recording the same, the respondent police is directed to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
