For Respondent : Mr.P.Kottai Chamy Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail Crime No.2 of 2018 on the file of the Respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 408, 477(A) r/w. 120 B of IPC, in Crime No.2 of 2018 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that on 28.12.2018, a complaint was lodged by the Managing Director/Joint Registrar, District Central Co-operative Bank Ltd., Karur, that fake jewel loans were advanced to persons, who were not members of the society and that the jewels were also not genuine but fake. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that earlier he has filed an anticipatory bail petition before this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.4524 of 2020, and the same was dismissed on 13.03.2020 on the ground that the petitioner has not so far found to be involved in the crime.

CRL OP(MD). No.11572 of 2021 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that this petitioner, working as Circle Supervisor in the Co-operative Society, has pledged the jewels worth about Rs.4,65,000/- as an agricultural loan. He further submitted that the investigation in this regard is yet to be completed and is in the initial stage. 5.Considering the nature of allegation as against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
