The writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction, directing the respondents to provide necessary permission and protection to conduct Kabadi Tournament on behalf of 7 Bullet Kabadi Kuzhi and Vannikottai Village People at Vannikottai Village, Thiruppuvanam Taluk, Sivagangai District, on 14.01.2017 night at 9.00 pm to 15.1.2017 morning at 11.00 am. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous, since the dates on which the petitioner sought for permission to conduct the festival, got expired. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 3.Recording the above submission, this petition is disposed of
