O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J.) The writ petitioner seeks removal of the encroachments made by the respondents 3 to 5 in the water body comprised in S.No.545, 556 and 557 situated at Ilankulam, Narannapuram Village, Sivagiri Taluk, Tirunelveli District. He gave representation dated 24.07.2017 in this regard.

2.This Court directs the second respondent to enquire into the matter. If any encroachment is noticed, the same shall be removed after issuing notice to the alleged encroachers and by following statutory procedures. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
