COMMON ORDER These Writ Petitions have been filed, seeking for a direction to direct the respondents to appoint the petitioners as Inspectors / Sub-Inspectors as selected under third respondent SPCA based on their representations dated 18.05.2018.
2.The case of the petitioners is that the petitioners were trainees cum volunteers of the Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animal. They were selected as Inspectors / Sub Inspectors by the third respondent under the scheme framed by the first respondent
herein, were given training called 'SPCA Kavathu' in respect of functioning of all departments and also the procedures being followed by the Judicial Magistrates to take cognizance of the complaint. Thereafter, they were not given any appointment. Therefore, they made representations dated 18.05.2018 to the respondents to appoint them as Inspectors / Sub Inspectors. Since the same have not been considered till date, the petitioners are before this Court with the aforesaid prayer.
3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, who would submit that the respondents are prepared to consider the representations of the petitioners and to pass suitable orders on the same.
4.In view of the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioners, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the concerned respondent to consider the representations dated 18.05.2018, submitted by the petitioners and to pass appropriate orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if there is no legal impediment to do so. 5.With the above direction, these Writ Petitions are disposed of. No costs.
