This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the online patta transfer application in No.2023/0103/15/329634, dated 10.02.2023 and grant patta to the petitioner with respect to the lands in S.No.181/1 of Thottiyapatti village, Marungapuri, Trichy District. 2.Heard Mr.S.Madhavan, learned Counsel for the petitioner, Ms.D.Farjana Ghousia, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.
3.Even before entering into any discussion on the facts, the learned Special Government Pleader had forwarded a record that the application of the petitioner had been rejected by an order, dated 20.02.2023. 4.There is an avenue to file an appeal before the Revenue 2/4
Divisional Officer at Srirangam in Tiruchirappalli. The petitioner may file such appeal on or before 30.06.2023 and if it is presented, the Revenue Divisional Officer at Srirangam in Tiruchirappalli, the second respondent herein, may not put the issue of limitation against the petitioner herein, but proceed to hear the said appeal in manner known to law and in accordance with law, after issuing notices to all the parties concerned and then pass necessary orders.
