This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the FIR in Crime No. 1 of 2023 dated 08.01.2023 on the file of the first respondent. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the first petitioner is the mother-in-law and the second petitioner is the sister-in-law of the defacto complainant. It is his further submission that the defacto complainant is the resident of Chennai, whereas she had filed the complaint before the first respondent/All Woman Police Station, Tenkasi, which was taken on file and FIR was registered in Crime No.1 of 2023. The learned counsel for the petitioners further submits that the second petitioner is employed as Teacher in a private school. She has no role in this case. Only to harass her, the complaint had been lodged. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submits that the investigation had already been completed and the final report was 2/4

also laid in CC.No.LTN.20220002216 (202300007) dated 18.12.2023 before the Court of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tenkasi through EFiling. 4.Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. The petitioners can file fresh application seeking quashment of the Charge Sheet, if they are so advised. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
