ORDER

******** [Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] This writ petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to conduct an enquiry about pasting of paver block pavement in the Naduvapatti Village, E.Muthulingapuram Panchayat, Virudhunagar Panchayat Union, Virudhunagar District and take necessary action against the persons concerned.

2. Heard the learned Counsel on either side.

3. The petitioner has made a representation to the third respondent alleging that misappropriation has taken place as if work was done under the scheme, which was actually done by the general public. Though a larger prayer was sought for, the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice if the pending representation of the petitioner, dated 17.12.2015, is directed to be disposed of, within a stipulated time limit.

4. Considering the above, we direct the petitioner to send a copy of the representation dated 17.12.2015, along with a copy of this order to the third respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the same, the third respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the said representation, dated 17.12.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned, within a period of eight weeks thereafter.

5. This writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms. No costs.
