[Order of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.] Mr.P.Thilkakumar, learned Government Pleader, takes notice for the second respondent and Mr.S.P.Maharajan, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the first respondent.

2. Considering the nature of the relief, notice to the private respondents is deemed unnecessary.

3. With the consent of both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final hearing at the admission stage itself.

4. Learned Government Pleader appearing for the second respondent submits that a notice under Section 182 of the Tamil Nadu District Municipalities Act, 1920, has already been issued to the petitioner.

5. Since the respondents have already taken action for eviction of the encroachments, we do not find any reason to entertain the writ petition. The respondents are however directed to pursue the eviction proceedings to its logical conclusion.
