Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that after filing the present petition only, he knows that the petitioner's name is not found in the FIR.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police also confirmed the above said submission.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as unnecessary. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
