: Respondents PRAYER:Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.03.2016 seeking for disbursement of petitioner's retirement benefits more fully by recalculating the amounts under various heads within the time stipulated by this Court.

The writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to consider his representation dated 30.03.2016, wherein, he sought for disbursement of his retirement benefits by re-calculating the amounts under various heads. 2.Mr.K.Guru, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.The petitioner is aged about 64 years. After working as Secretary, since 15.07.1977, in the Sithivayal (ACCS) Society, Ramanathapuram, he was allowed to retire from service on 31.10.2011, based on the recommendations of the Special Officer dated 02.09.2011, wherein, it was stated that there was no departmental proceedings pending against the petitioner. But the respondents have not come forward to settle his retirement benefits and aggireved by the same, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 30.03.2016, to the respondents seeking the aforesaid prayer. As the same is kept pending without any action, the petitioner is before this Court.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court, directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.03.2016 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, if required, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
