Prayer : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the respondent to conduct the investigation and to file the Final Report in Crime No.465 of 2020, dated 26.10.2020, on the file of the second respondent police, before the concerned Court, within stipulated time fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This petition is filed to direct the respondent to conduct the investigation and to file the Final Report in Crime No.465 of 2020, dated 26.10.2020, on the file of the second respondent police, before the concerned Court, within stipulated time fixed by this Court.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that the date of alleged occurrence was 26.10.2020. First Information Report has been registered against this petitioner in Crime No. 465 of 2020 on 26.10.2020, for the offences punishable under Sections 4(1) (aaa), 4

(1) (I) and 24 of TN Prohibition Act. Inspite of that, there is no investigation even after lapse of one year. Hence, this petition. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would seek one month time to complete the investigation.

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.11350 of 2021 4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation and file Final Report within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. After filing the Final Report, compliance Report must be submitted to the Registry of this Court.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
