2.The Tahsildar, Thirumangalam Taluk, Madurai District :Respondents in all Writ Petitions COMMON PRAYER: These Writ Petitions are filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 31.07.2017 and publish the results of the selection held on 30.12.2016 for the post of Village Assistant (Thalaiyari). For Petitioner in all Writ Petitions : Mr.M.Chamundi Bose For Respondents in all Writ Petitions : Mr.D.Muruganandham Additional Government Pleader C O M M O N O R D E R The petitioners registered their educational qualification with the Employment Exchange after passing their Higher Secondary Class.
While so, in December 2016, there was a paper publication calling from eligible candidates for the post of Village Assistant (Thalaiyari), as there are 12 vacancies for the post of Village Assistant (Thalaiyari) in Thirumangalam Taluk, Madurai District. 2.After applying to the said post, the petitioners were issued with the interview call letter on 24.12.2016, to appear for interview on 30.12.2016 at about 11.00 a.m., in the respondent's office.

results. Therefore, the petitioners gave a representation to the second respondent on 31.07.2017, to publish the results for the examination held on 30.12.2016, for the post of Village Assistant (Thalaiyari). A direction may be issued to publish the results. 4.Mr.D.Muruganandham, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents, seeks time to get instructions, but this Court is not inclined to grant time, for the reason that already a representation is pending for consideration before the respondents.
5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court, directs the Tahsildar, Thirumangalam Taluk, Madurai District/Second respondent herein to consider the pending representation of the petitioners dated 31.07.2017, and pass order on merits within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, these writ petitions are disposed of. No costs.
