Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.01.2020 and to direct the third respondent to issue the House Tax Receipt in the name of the petitioner for the house situated in bearing Door No.181, Sunnampuyiruppu, Kottaiyiruppu Post, Thiruppathur Taluk, Sivagangai District.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to issue House Tax Receipt in the name of the petitioner with respect to the subject property.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the first to fourth respondents.

3. The petitioner is seeking for issuance of a House Tax Receipt in his name with respect to the subject property based on the earlier partition suit that was filed in O.S.No.108 of 2009, in which, the parties had Page No. 2 of 5

entered into a compromise and this subject property was allotted in favour of the petitioner.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the first to fourth respondents submitted that if the petitioner produces the relevant documents before the third respondent, same will be considered and the decision will be taken within a time frame fixed by this Court.

5. In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to make a fresh representation along with relevant documents and also a copy of this order to the third respondent. The third respondent shall take decision within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of fresh representation from the petitioner.

6. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above observations. No cost.
