This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of writ of mandamus, seeking direction against the respondent to dispose the petition seeking to 1/4

cancel the fabricated patta in respect of the property in Survey Nos.170/2A1A2, 170/2A2 and 170/3 measuring 5 acres 45 cents situated at Pannamparai Village, Sathankulam Taluk, Thoothukudi District.

2. Heard Mr.R.J.Karthick learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.P.B.Ahamed Yasmin Parveen, learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

3. Mr.R.J.Karthick learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has sought cancellation of patta issued to the private individuals. In this regard, the petitioner has made applications to the respondents dated 23.01.2025 and 30.04.2025.

4. Considering the limited relief sought in the writ petition, the respondents are directed to enquire into the petitioner's representations after affording a fair opportunity to the petitioner and the persons in whose names the patta is presently mutated and pass final order on its merits and in accordance with law, disposing of the petitioner's representations dated 23.01.2025 and 30.04.2025, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
