ORDER

Heard Mr.S.Visvalingam, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Ramesh, learned Government Advocate for the respondent.

2. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for disposal.

3. The petitioner has filed this writ petition for a mandamus directing the 1st respondent i.e. the District Collector, Tiruchirappalli to implement the orders in W.P.(MD) No.19148 of 2018 dated 22.08.2022 and communicated on 07.09.2022.

4. For the non compliance of the earlier order of this Court, the petitioner ought to have filed a contempt petition. However, it is submitted that in view of the delay involved, he has chosen to file the present writ petition for the very same relief. 2/4

5. The learned Government Advocate submitted that orders passed in the writ petition cannot be implemented.

6. In such case, if the respondents are aggrieved against the order dated 22.08.2022, they ought to have filed an appeal or passed an order as to why the direction could not be implemented.

7. In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to comply with the earlier direction given by this Court within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
