Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus seeking direction to direct the respondents 1 to 3 herein to implement the resolution passed in the peace committee meeting dated.26.05.1999 in respect of to conduct Manjuvirattu (bull chasing sports) following the temple festival namely Kanavai Karuppar Temple and taken Javuli Pottalam procession in the ensuring year by consider my representation dated. 22.04.2025.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus to the respondents to implement the resolution passed in the peace committee meeting conducted by the Revenue Officials. 2/4

2.It is a settled position of law that the Revenue Officials are not having any authority to conduct peace committee meeting. When the resolution has been passed without any authority, there cannot be any mandamus to implement the said resolution and therefore, this Court is not inclined to entertain this writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. The petitioner can workout his remedy in the manner known to law. No costs.
