Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to revise and refix the petitioner's monthly pension at Rs.6063/- as on 01.04.1998 instead of Rs.5,925/- in the light of the proceedings of the 2nd respondent dated 14.10.2015 based on the petitioner's representation dated 01.09.2015 besides directing the respondents to pay the arrears of pension based on the revised amount of pension as on 01.04.1998 within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

This writ petition has been filed, seeking to direct the respondents to revise and refix the petitioner's monthly pension at Rs.6063/- as on 01.04.1998 instead of Rs.5,925/- in the light of the proceedings of the 2nd respondent dated 14.10.2015, based on the petitioner's representation dated 01.09.2015, besides directing the respondents to pay the arrears of pension based on the revised amount of pension as on 01.04.1998 within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the first respondent fairly submitted that the case of the petitioner was considered and the appropriate proceedings would be passed in the matter, within a period of four weeks.

3. Recording the said submission, this Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.
