The petitioner seeks limited relief of writ of mandamus, directing the Respondent herein to issue the Legal Heirship Certificate in the petitioner's favour for her deceased husband Rajachandrasekaran by considering the petitioner's application dated 28.03.2025.

2. Heard Mr.V.Malaiyendran learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.K.S.Selvaganesan, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent.

Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for in the writ petition, it would suffice to dispose of the writ petition directing the respondents to enquire into the petitioner's application dated 28.03.2025 and the respondent shall afford opportunity to the petitioner to produce relevant documents in support of the claim for legalheirship certificate as the wife of the deceased husband Rajachandrasekaran and thereafter the respondent shall pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
