Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to conduct proper investigation by his subordinates as against the petitioners son namely Nakkeeran implicated in four criminal cases on the file of the third respondent in Crime Nos.113 of 2017, 256 of 2017, 266 of 2017 and 426 of 2017, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 17.08.2017.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to conduct proper investigation as against the petitioner's son viz., Nakkeeran, by considering her representation, dated 17.08.2017.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that her son one Nakkeeran has been implicated in four criminal cases and the third respondent are taking steps to implicate him in another criminal case. In the above circumstances, she filed a petition before the Deputy Inspector General of Police, the first respondent herein to conduct enquiry and not to include her son as accused in any criminal case and that was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions would submit that the petitioner's son is a habitual offender and number of cases are pending against him in various police stations and the criminal case also registered by the third respondent police, only in order to prevent the further investigation, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. Considering the fact that the petitioner's son is a habitual offender and various criminal cases are pending against him, and the representation has been sent by the petitioner only to stall the investigation against her son. In the above circumstances, the petitioner's representation need not be considered by the first respondent. Hence, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
