ORDER

The petitioner seeks for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider her representation dated 19.07.2017, seeking mutation proceedings.

2. Mr.A.Muthukaruppan, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondent.

3. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for disposal, at the admission stage itself.

4. The case of the petitioner is that though a decree has been obtained in her favour and the title in respect of S.F.No.144, to an extent of 2.15 cents, situated at Thumpivadi Village, Karur Taluk, Karur District, stood in her name, the respondent had not carried out the mutation proceedings in the patta, chitta and other revenue records. In this regard, a representation has been submitted by the petitioner to the respondent on 19.07.2017. As the said representation has been kept pending without any action, the petitioner is before this Court.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court, without going into the merits of the petitioner's claim, directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.07.2017 and pass appropriate orders on its own merit and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as all the interested parties, if any, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
