Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to permit the conduct of cock fight on 03.02.2017 and 04.02.2017 for 2 days at the function of deity Sri Aathi Kaliyamman Temple function situated in Rajagoundanur, Viruthalaipatti Village, Vedasanthur Taluk, Dindigul District on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 28.01.2017 within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court. [Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to give necessary permission for conducting cock fight in the place mentioned in the petition, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus. 2.Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents.

3.It is seen from the records that a representation has been given on 28.01.2017 and the same has not been considered by the respondents and therefore this Court is inclined to pass the following order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 4.In fine, this writ petition is allowed in part without costs and the second respondent viz., Sub Inspector of Police, Koombur Police
