The writ petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to give employment to the petitioner, by considering his representation, dated 29.06.2017. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that after appointing the petitioner as a daily wage employee in the Office of the Assistant Executive Engineer, Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board, Town Sub Division, Kodaikanal, on 05.11.1985, he was transferred by the proceedings dated 09.01.1986, to the Office of the third respondent viz., the Assistant Executive Engineer, Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board, Town Sub Division, Dindigul. After some time, he was stopped from working in the third respondent Office in the year 1989. He was not re-employed. In the mean while, he has given various representations to the respondents to give him employment by considering his representation, but no response is forthcoming. Hence, the petitioner has come forward to file this writ petition.
3. The petitioner was refused to be given employment in the year 1989 and after a lapse of almost 28 long years, the petitioner cannot maintain the writ petition for any relief. He is guilty of lapse. Therefore, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
