This petition is filed seeking for a direction to the second respondent to dispose the appeal in Na.Ka.P5/26931/2016 pending on the file of the 2nd respondent within stipulated time fixed by this Court.

2.Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for respondents 1 and 2. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.Mr.S.Muniyandi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the third respondent's name was wrongly included in respect of Patta No.1817. Aggrieved over the same, the petitioner has preferred an appeal before the second respondent in the year 2016. Since there is no progress, the present writ petition.

4.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to dispose the appeal in Na.Ka.P5/26931/2016 on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to all necessary parties, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
