Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec. 438 Cr.P.C. ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 4(1) (aa), 4(1-A) of Tamilnadu Prohibition Act and Sections 465, 468 and 471 of IPC on the file of respondent police in Crime No.1148 of 2018, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the petitioner is that the fourth accused has been arrested with a Van containing 5856 of 180 ml of illicit liquor bottles transported from Kurumpuram, Tindivanam to Viralimalai under the instruction of the second accused. A2 was arrested in this case. On the confession made by him the petitioner was arrayed as accused.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that a false case has been foisted against them and they had nothing to do with the alleged crime. He further submits that the petitioner is living in Pondicherry. Due to previous records he was implicated in this case falsely.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that the liquor bottles have been recovered from the accused persons. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 5.Considering the quantity of contraband, this Court is not
