Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order inviting application for filling up for the post of District Child Protection Officers on consolidated pay dated Nil on the file of the second respondent published in their official website and quash the same as illegal and consequently for a direction, directing the second respondent to reinstate the petitioner in service within the time period stipulated by this Court. O R D E R

The petitioner herein has challenged the selection process whereby applications were invited for filling up the post of District Child Protection Officers.

2.Today, when the matter was called, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has produced the proceedings of the Commissioner of Social Defence, dated 04.01.2021, whereby the post of District Child Protection Officers on temporary basis for a period of one year has been filled up. Accordingly, no effective order can be passed in the present writ petition.

3.In view of the same, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. In case, the petitioner intends to challenge the selection order, it is open to him to do so, in accordance with law. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
