: Respondents PRAYER:Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order dated 24.08.2017 in C.No.R2/150/2017 passed by the second respondent and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondents to conduct a fresh physical measurement test for the petitioner (Enrollment Number 7401159) for the Post of Grade II Constable, Grade II Jail Warders and Firemen in the Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board 2017.

By consent of both parties, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner has again approached this Court challenging the second impugned disqualification slip dated 24.08.2017, recording her height as 158.6 cm. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.On the earlier occasion, the very same height measurement was questioned before this Court and this Court entertained the writ petition on the ground that the petitioner is a National Level Hockey Player and she had represented Madurai Kamaraj University. Further more, since there was insufficient lighting arrangements in the place where the petitioner's height was measured, this Court directed the respondents to re-measure the height of the petitioner.

4.As per the direction issued by this Court on 21.08.2017 in W.P.(MD)No.14967 of 2017, the petitioner's height was re-measured and again, the petitioner has been found disqualified on the ground that her height is found to be only 158.6 cm. Challenging the second impugned disqualification slip, the petitioner has come to this Court. This Court is unable to entertain the writ petition, since both the impugned disqualification slips dated 02.08.2017 and 24.08.2017, indicate that the petitioner is falling even below 158.8 cm, which could be otherwise rounded of to 159 cm.

5.This Writ Petition stands dismissed accordingly. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
