ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

2.The petitioner seeks grant of police protection. 3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor stated that before the Revenue Divisional Officer, some proceedings are pending and that the parties are advised to abide by the outcome of the same. 4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner pointed out that even though O.S.No.30 of 2020 has been filed on the file of the District Munsif Court, Srivaikundam, due to non cooperation of the other side, the case is not to be showing any progress. It is seen that the suit was filed only in June 2020. It is only a bare suit for injunction.

5.The learned District Munsif Court, Srivaikundam, is directed to dispose of the suit on merits and in accordance with law within a period of seven months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the aforesaid direction.
