Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec. 438 Cr.P.C. ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners have moved this application for anticipatory bail, that they are apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 494, 498(A) of I.P.C and Section 4 of Women Harassment Act, in Crime No. Not Known of 2018 on the file of the respondent police. 2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police, on instructions, submitted that a petition enquiry is pending against the petitioners before the respondent police station. 3.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent police is directed to complete the petition enquiry as contemplated in Lalitha Kumari Vs State of Government of Uttar Pradesh and others case, reported in 2013 (6) CTC 353, within the stipulated time. The petitioners are also directed to cooperate with https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.

the respondent police for the enquiry and at the time of enquiry, the petitioners shall not be harassed by the respondent police. 4.In the event, if the respondent police is decided to proceed with the complaint by registering FIR, the petitioners are at liberty to move for regular anticipatory bail. Till then, the respondent police is directed not to arrest the petitioners. 5.With the above directions, the Criminal Original Petition is closed.
