ORDER

The order passed in a peace committee meeting is challenged in this writ petition.

2.The learned Counsel for the petitioner by referring the orders of this Court in WP(MD)No.13151 of 2024 dated 21.06.2025 submits that the revenue officials have no legal power to conduct a peace committee meeting and take a decision.

3.It is settled position that the resolution passed in a peace committee meeting is not an order authorised by any provision of law and it is not having any statutory value. Therefore, the impugned resolution is set aside.
