: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to consider petitioner's representation dated 05.06.2020 and further direct the 2nd Respondent to disburse the petitioner's salary for the period the petitioner worked from 16.06.2005 to 29.03.2007 in the fourth respondent College.

ORDER
Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Counsel appearing for the second respondent. 2.According to the petitioner, she has been appointed as a Lecturer in the Department of Physics in the fourth respondent college, in the leave vacancy of one Mr.John Kennady, from 16.06.2005 to 29.03.2007. Her grievance is that the second respondent has not disbursed her the salary for the aforesaid period and is protracting the payment of salary, by one way or the other. In this regard, she has made repeated representations to the authorities on various dates and finally on 05.06.2020. Even then, nothing has moved and therefore, she has filed the present writ petition.
3.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner dated 05.06.2020 is directed to be disposed of, within a stipulated time limit.
4.In view of the limited scope of the relief sought for, this Court, without expressing anything on the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.06.2020 and pass appropriate orders, on its own merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
