The petitioner seeks issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to forbear the first respondent from registering any document in respect of the property measuring 30 cents comprised in Old Survey No.145/2, New Survey No.145/7 at Ilankaran Village, Kanjirankal Group, Sivagangai Taluk, Sivagangai District, in respect of which, according to the petitioner, the patta has been wrongly mutated in favour of the second respondent. The petitioner has given a representations on 30.04.2025 and 03.05.2025, in this regard to the first respondent.

2.Learned Counsel for the petitioner would also invite my attention to the circular in Na.Ka.No.39708/C1/2018 dated 04.10.2018 and would submit that in terms of the said circular, the petitioner has also submitted all relevant documents in support of his claim for the subject property.

3.The prayer sought for by the petitioner seeking a blanket direction to restrain the respondent from registering any document cannot be granted. However, it would suffice to direct the first respondent to follow the guidelines in the said circular dated 04.10.2018 and hear the petitioner's objections and protest petition made vide representations dated 30.04.2025 and 03.05.2025 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, before entertaining any request for registration.

4.Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
