The petitioner has come up with the present writ petition seeking for a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to cancel the patta issued in favour of the 4th respondent, by considering his representations, dated 19.01.2016 and 17.07.2017. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.Heard Mr.K.Baalasundram, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 3 and perused the materials available on record. 3.Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader, on instructions, would submit that the 3rd respondent has conducted enquiry and recommended the 2nd respondent Revenue Divisional Officer for issuance of patta in favour of the petitioner. 4.In view of the above facts and circumstances of the case, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 2nd respondent to take appropriate action on the representations of the petitioner, dated 19.01.2016 and 17.07.2017 and pass suitable orders purely on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of the order copy, after providing opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as to the necessary parties, if any.
