The petitioner/A1 in CC.No.151/2024 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Paramakudi has approached this Court for speedy disposal of the above case, which was filed in the year 2024. 1/5

2.Mr.B.Thanga Aravindh, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) takes notice for the respondent and submits that the case has been posted on 21.06.2024 for the appearance of the accused. 3.The petitioner appears to have been involved in Crime No. 32 of 2022, which has been registered for the offence punishable under Sections 294(b), 323, 324, 506(ii) of IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Women Harrassment Act,2002. After investigation, the respondent police has filed the final report on 19.03.2024 and the same was taken on file by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Paramakudi in CC No.151 of 2024. According to the petitioner, his family and defacto complainant's family are close relatives, he is an innocent and he has not committed any offence. Therefore, the petitioner seeks early disposal of the above case.

4.This Court considered the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed before this Court.

5.The petitioner, who is an accused in CC No.151 of 2024 has approached this Court for speedy disposal of the case. It is to be noted that for the case, which was registered in the year 2022, the final report was filed in the year 2024, it was also taken on file by the concerned Magistrate, summons were issued as against the accused for their appearance. It appears that there is no delay in the proceedings. 6.In view of the above, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original petition is dismissed with a direction to the petitioner to pay a sum of Rs.5,000/- to the concerned Magistrate Court within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the learned Magistrate shall utilise the amount for the welfare of the concerned Court. 26.06.2024 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet:Yes vrn 3/5
