Prayer: Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to conclude the appeal proceeding dated 21.03.2024 with respect to UDR subdivision Patta in S.F.No. 1334 to an total extent of 10 Acres 62 cents situated at Pudhu Adaikkampatti village, Pannapatti Keelpagam village, Manapparai taluk, Trichy, within time frame.

ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents. Considering the nature of relief to be granted, issuance of notice to the private respondents is dispensed with.

2. All that the petitioner wants is disposal of the petition mentioned appeal. No exception can be taken to the said request. The first respondent is directed to dispose of the petition mentioned appeal on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The interested parties including the private respondents herein will have to be necessarily heard 2/4

before the final order is passed. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. It is for the first respondent to pass order one way or the other.

3.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
