PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.111/2024 on the file of the Respondent Police. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The respondent police registered a case as against this petitioner in Crime No.111 of 2024 for the offence under Section 174 Cr.P.C. @ 306 IPC and section 67 of IT Act, and remanded him into judicial custody on 07.06.2024. Therefore, the petitioner has filed this petition seeking bail. 1/3
2. The case of the prosecution is that due to previous motive, while distributing marriage invitation, the petitioner has shared a photo of one Sowmiya, who is the elder daughter of the deceased in a whatsapp group. In that photo, the said Sowmiya has stood closely with the petitioner herein. On knowing the same, her father committed suicide. Hence the case.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. However, he has been arrested and he is languishing in jail from 07.06.2024. Therefore, he prays for grant of bail.
4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent opposed for grant of bail on the ground that the investigation is in the crucial stage and it is a matter for trial.
5.
