Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to issue "No Objection Certificate" to the petitioner for the land in Survey No.137/1A1 of Sakaraperi Village, Tuticorin District within a specified time. ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to issue "No Objection Certificate" to the petitioner.

2.The case of the petitioner is that the land acquisition proceedings initiated against the land of the petitioner in S.No.137/1A1 was already quashed by this Court in W.P(MD)No.17368 of 2013 dated 28.10.2013. Thereafter, the petitioner approached the respondents on 29.07.2017 for issuance of No Objection Certificate. Since no action was taken, the present writ petition.

3.The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner would be considered without delay.

4.In view of the above submission, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.07.2017 and take appropriate action on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to all necessary parties, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
