ORDER

The petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the third respondent to file final report, within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. The petitioner herein is the defacto complainant in Crime No.296 of 2021 which was registered for the offence punishable under Sections 294(b), 380(NP), 506(i) of IPC r/w 3(1)(m), 3(1)(r), 3(1) (s) of SC/ST Act, 2018. The defacto complaint has lodged the alleged complaint on 16.07.2021.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is working as President of Pitchandar Kovil Panchayat Board and the accused Dhanabal is a Panchayat Member in the same Panchayat Board and he is making frequent disturbances in managing the office of the Panchayat Board. Hence, this petitioner is before this Court.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (crl. Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that three months time may be granted to complete the investigation and file final report.

5. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor seeks three months time to complete the investigation. But, however, considering the facts and circumstances of the case, two months time is granted to the third respondent to complete the investigation and file final report. After filing final report, compliance report should be submitted to the Registry of this Court to that extent.

6. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
