The petitioner has come up with the present writ petition for a direction to the first respondent herein to renew the Custom Broker License No.TRY-16/2002 of the petitioner as per the Application dated 23.03.2017.

2.Heard Mr.A.K.Jayaraj, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Gurumoorthy, learned standing counsel, who took notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.The petitioner would state that the the petitioner's application for renewal of Customs Broker License got expired on 28.03.2017 and even before that on 23.03.2017, he filed an application for renewal of license. Since no order was passed, the present writ petition.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice, if a direction is given to the first respondent to consider the application of the petitioner. 5.In the light of the above submission, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the first respondent to consider the application of the dated 23.03.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to all necessary parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
