Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertain to impugned order passed by the 3rd respondent, dated 24.08.2017 vide Na.Ka.A2/527/2017 and set aside the same and further direct the respondents not to grant permission to conduct any of the program regarding the Shri Vinaytheerkum Vinayaga Temple festival in Ward No.2 i.e Jacobpuram.

O R D E R

The petitioner has come up with the present Writ Petition challenging the order of the 3rd respondent, dated 24.08.2017 and further to direct the respondents not to grant permission to conduct any of the program during Shri Vinaytheerkum Vinayaga Temple festival in Ward No.2 at Jacobpuram village, Radhapuram Taluk, Tirunelveli District.

2.Heard Mr.V.Rajiv Rufus, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

3.Learned Special Government Pleader, on instructions, would submit that the temple festival was over, in pursuance of the order impugned in this writ petition and therefore, it has become infructuous.

4.In view of the above submission, this Writ petition is dismissed as infructuous giving liberty to the petitioner to approach the concerned authorities for ventilation of his grievance in the manner known to law. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellanous Petitions are closed.
