O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by G.R.SWAMINATHAN,J.] The writ petitioner seeks a direction for forbearing the respondents from establishing a sand quarry at Survey No.8 or anyother survey Field in the banks of Virusuzhi River in Kattavilagam Village, Kookudi Group, Thiruvadanai Taluk, Ramanathapuram District.

2.The petitioner has given representations dated 11.08.2017 and 17.08.2017 in this regard. The first respondent is directed to consider the said representations and dispose of the same in accordance with law. The first respondent shall afford personnal hearing to the petitioner herein. Till the decision is taken on the Writ Petitioner's representation, no quarrying activity shall be permitted in the area in question.

3.With this direction this Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
