ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.06.2017 and to give drought relief for the petitioner's agricultural lands in survey No. 319/4 measuring to an extent of 0.30.00 Hectares in patta No. 2090 at Palkulam Village, Kalayarkovil, Sivagangai. 2.Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both parties the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3.The case of the petitioner is that he owns a land to an extent 0.30.00 hectares in survey No.319/4 at Palkulam Village, Kalayarkovil, Sivagangai District. He was cultivating paddy in his field.

4.The grievance of the petitioner is that due to drought, he suffered heavy damage in paddy crop and therefore he sent a representation dated 29.05.2017 and 19.06.2017 seeking relief, however, no action was taken.
5.Heard Mr.J.Jeyakumaran, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.
6.In the light of the above facts, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 29.05.2017 and 19.06.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
7.With the above direction this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
