O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA, J.] The petitioner has filed this habeas corpus petition seeking a direction to the respondents to secure his wife, namely, Devi, aged about 24 years, produce her before this Court and set her at liberty.

2. Pursuant to the directions issued by this Court dated 10.07.2024, the Child Welfare Committee, Madurai, has filed a report before this Court today. The said report is taken on record. A perusal of the said report shows that on the request of the petitioner and the recommendation of the Probation Officer, the first daughter of the petitioner, is accommodated in Annai Satya Government Children's Home. Further, since the Probation Officer had found that the male children aged 8 years and 4 years are attached to their mother, they were handed over to their mother and as on date, the sons are with their mother. In the report, it is also stated that the declaration of mother as a fit person shall be subject to the follow-up reports of the District Child Protection Unit.

3. In view of above, no further adjudication is required in this habeas corpus petition and the same is, therefore, closed. [A.D.J.C., J.] [K.R.S., J.] 01.08.2024 NCC :
