ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 85, 316(2), 296(b), 351 1/3

(2) of BNS, 2023 and Section 4 of TNPHW Act in Cr.No.Not Known of 2025 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and the defacto complainant loved each other and got married against their parents wish. After marriage, the petitioner demanded dowry and caused cruelty upon the defacto complainant and her family members. Hence the complaint.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions would submit that on the defacto complainant's complaint, CSR No.70 of 2025 came to be registered and petition enquiry is pending.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is ready and willing to co-operate with the respondent police for the investigation.

5. Recording the above said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
