ORDER

Mr.K.S.Selva Ganesan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3. 2.The petitioner seeks issuance of a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to survey the petitioner's land in T.S.No.39 on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 17.02.2025. 3.The petitioner's grievance is that despite two attempts made to conduct the survey, the survey exercise was postponed for reasons not known to the petitioner. The further grievance of the petitioner is that taking advantage of the survey not being conducted, the neighbouring land owners are trying to grab the petitioner's land. Hence the petitioner seeks urgent orders from this Court by way of the present Writ Petition.

4.Considering the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents 1 and 2 to conduct survey after giving notice to the adjoining land owners, after hearing their objections if any and considering/disposing of such objections before proceeding to conduct survey based on the petitioner's representation. In the event that the first respondent requires the assistance of the jurisdictional police officials, it shall be open to the first respondent to make an advance request to the jurisdictional police station who in turn shall ensure that sufficient police protection is made available to the first respondent at the time of survey. The cost of such police protection shall be met by the writ petitioner. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above observations and directions. There shall be no order as to costs. 08.05.2025 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes ps 3/5
