The prayer in the writ petition is for a direction to the 4th respondent to pay the interim compensation amount of Rs.2,50,000/- sanctioned as per the orders passed by the Mahila Court, Pudukkottai, in Spl.S.C.No.13/2019 dated 20.12.2019 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P(MD)No.14562 of 2020 forthwith, without any further delay to the petitioner, considering her representations dated 30.12.2019 and 09.10.2020 respectively. 2.

Today, when the writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor produced the proceedings of the Superintendent of Police, Pudukkottai, in C.No.G3/25743/206/2020 dated 11.11.2020, to show that compensation amount of Rs.2,50,000/- has been deposited to the petitioner's bank account through ECS on 29.10.2020. Therefore, he would submit that the relief sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous. 3.

Recording the above submission, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
