O R D E R

This writ petition is filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.08.2017 and consequently appoint a Executive Officer to conduct Kumbabisekam festival in Arulmigu Sandhanamariamman Temple, situated in 78th Ward, Baskaradass Nagar (Thidir Nagar) Madurai.

2.The petitioner would state that he is one of the Donors for Mahakumbabisekam to be conducted in Arulmigu Sandhanamariamman Temple, situated at 78th Ward, Baskaradass Nagar (Thidir Nagar) Madurai. The entire renovation work is carried out by the Donors, but the third parties without any authorisation have collected Donations.

Hence, on 27.06.2017, the petitioner gave a representation to the fourth respondent. Since no action was taken, further representation dated 08.08.2017 was given to the respondents 1 to 3 to take action. Since there is no reply, the present writ petition is filed.

3.Mr.S.Balaji, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the Donors shall not collect the donation from the third parties as per the undertaking letter dated 06.04.2017 given to the Thakkar of the temple, viz., the 5th respondent. 4.Mr.S.Manokar, learned counsel appearing for the fourth respondent would submit that neither in the representation dated 27.06.2017 nor in the second representation dated 08.08.2017 any allegation made against the respondents and the renovation work in the temple was carried out in a proper manner and the Kumbabisekam will be held on 08.09.2017 and all arrangements have been made to perform the Kumbabisekam on 08.09.2017. 5.In view of the above submissions, this Court is of the view that no further adjudication is necessary. Hence, this writ petition is closed.

No costs.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
