ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to promote the petitioner herein as Executive Engineer in the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department w.e.f. 09.10.2014 the date of promotion of the petitioner's immediate junior with all consequential service, monetary and attendant benefits.

2. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is disposed at the stage of admission itself.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that though larger relief has been sought for by the petitioner, now, she confines the prayer that it would suffice if the representation made by the petitioner dated 24.03.2025 is disposed of in accordance with law.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respective respondents would submit that the matter is now pending before the first respondent.

5. In view of the above, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner dated 24.03.2025 pending before him and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is also made clear that this Court has not expressed any of its views with regard to the merits of the matter and that it is open to the respondents to consider the same on its own merits.

6. With the above observations and directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
