ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for issuing a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 herein to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner's life and limb by considering the representation of the petitioner, dated 19.04.2023 and 27.04.2023.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the private parties viz., Mahalingam, Ravichandran, Seeni Mohammed and Anand are making trouble to the petitioner for putting up construction by claiming right over the property. So that he filed a suit before the District Munsif Court, Madurai and later, it was withdrawn by him. In spite of the above said withdraw, the above said parties are making trouble continuously. Based upon which only he has made a representation.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that for putting up constructions the respondents police cannot give police protection.

The respondents police are directed to consider the above said representations of the petitioner on its own merits by summoning the petitioner as well as the private parties and dispose the same within a week from the date of appearance of the parties. Depending upon the out come of the enquiry, the petitioner shall work out the remedy through appropriate proceedings.

5. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
